The Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG) Southern Nevada Chapter was formed in 2008 after two reorganizations of the Southwestern Section, which had been in place since 1990. The Southern Nevada Section has a diverse member base of geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists, operating primarily out of the Las Vegas Valley, Nevada.
